1917

Medical Pharmaceuticals Laboratory

The story of Haver started when Ömer Hikmet Bey started to manufacture medical pharmaceutical products in 1917. This enterprise whose foundations were laid in a small laboratory grew fast with its mission to serve for the public health. The medical pharmaceuticals manufactured in the first years provide innovative solutions for the healthcare needs of the period and gained an important place in the sector. Haver became the symbol of trust and quality in this period.

1923

A New Beginning at the Mansion

Ömer Hikmet Bey moved his manufacturing activities to the mansion built by his father Zekai Paşa on the hillside of Kuleli Military High School. The laboratory continued its activities at the mansion under the name of “Haver Laboratory” and continued to contribute to the public health with more opportunities. The mansion was not only a production center but also the source of innovations in the field of medical pharmaceuticals.

1948

Transfer to Second Generation

The management of the laboratory was passed to Rasin Güneyman, the son of Ömer Hikmet Bey in 1948. Having graduated from Pharmacy School, Rasin Güneyman continued to develop the laboratory with his brother Mehmet Zeki Güneyman. During this period, the production capacity was increased and the product range was extended. Haver strengthened its position in the sector as a success story extending over generations.

1978

Rebirth and Partnerships

Haver entered into a new growth period in 1978 thanks to the partnership established with Selçuk Camcı. This partnership resulted in the restructuring and modernization of the Company. New facilities were established and TEMS Laboratory in Şişli and Dinçel Laboratories in Bahçelievler were purchased. These purchases allowed for the increasing of the production capacity as well as the market share of Haver.

1982

Move to Beykoz Facilities

Haver moved its production activities in Çengelköy to its new facilities in Beykoz and gained modern production opportunities. This move became a milestone for the company to carry out large scale productions and to focus on innovative projects. Many advanced technologies such as the serum production line were launched at the new facilities.

1983

Installation of the infusion bottle production line

Haver laid the foundations for quality, trust and innovation in the healthcare sector by installing the infusion bottle serum line. A modern glass bulb production line was opened in 1991 when the first glass bulb production was made for the first time.

2001

Innovation Era

Haver took important steps in the field of innovation in 2000s. The company manufactured the first local PVC medical bag and this innovation showed the power of the local production in the healthcare sector. Haver went beyond being a national brand in this period and became known also in international markets.

2014

Expanding into Global Markets

2014 became a new milestone for Haver to expand into international markets. The Company became a global player with its first export to Macedonia. This success reinforced the global vision and impact of Haver in the healthcare sector. The export activities reached more extensive geographies and supported the growth goals of the Company.

2020

Sustainability in Healthcare Sector

Haver continues to be a sector leader by combining innovation and sustainability with its R&D center established at Marmara Teknopark in 2020. The company increases its local production power and also continued to grow in international markets with new facilities and modern production lines. Today Haver continues its inspiring journey in the healthcare sector thanks to its experience from the past and its vision for future.

2021

A strong entry into Consumer Health Products market

Haver took a strong step into the consumer health products market in 2021 and gained a place in the pharmacies with licensed food supplements for people from 7 to 70. Haver continues to develop products for healthy generations and maintains its efforts for a more energetic public.

2022

Large Investment at Haver

Haver purchased the Turkish affiliate of MS Pharma in 2022 and started production under Haver Trakya. Haver Pharma continues its 2nd century journey with its vision to establish the 3rd factory at European standards in the new land purchased in Kırklareli Organized Industrial Zone and to start the public offering process.
